ANALYSIS OF ENGLISH BORROWINGS IN THE PERSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract

This article examines words borrowed from English into the Persian language and their usage. It demonstrates, with examples, how technology, the internet, business, culture, and international relations have influenced the incorporation of English words into Persian. The article also discusses how these words enrich the Persian vocabulary and contribute to the national lexicon. The results of the study help to understand how languages interact today and how new words are adopted. The conclusion analyzes the main factors influencing the entry of English words into Persian, each of which is illustrated with examples.
