SAID TASHAKKURIY – A VERSATILE CREATOR

Abstract

This article analyzes the life and multifaceted creative activity of Said Tashakkuriy, a prominent representative of 20th–21st century Iranian literature and performing arts. It examines his work as a novelist, playwright, screenwriter, and director, with particular emphasis on his contribution to the development of the historical novel genre. Furthermore, his works on historical, religious, and social themes, as well as his awards and his role in Iran’s cultural life, are examined from a scholarly perspective.
